Golden Sands Tavern

Golden Sands Tavern is a beloved local pub in the small coastal town of Nambucca Heads, NSW.

Under new ownership, the team were after a rebrand that would complement the beachside location and strong surfing history. Being a popular holiday destination, the brand identity needed to exude an endless summer vibe. No matter the time of year or weather, the Golden Sands Tavern is on coastal time.

Drawing inspiration from 70’s surfing nostalgia and exploring popular summer destinations, I developed a retro design using a chunky typeface. The arch shaped characteristics of the building design are mimicked in the brand mark which flows across branded collateral.
